This interactive session will explore updates to the Canadian Consensus Guidelines for the Primary Care of Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (2018). We’ll discuss the unique primary care needs of adults with IDD and explore ways to reduce barriers to quality care. Whether you’re familiar with the IDD Primary Care Guidelines or not, everyone is welcome to join and share insights from practice, research, and lived experience. A quick overview of the 2018 guidelines will ensure everyone is ready to contribute actively.
